  • Lopez dodged the question and instead promoted her new song in the interview

Jennifer Lopez just played coy when asked about her rekindled romance with Ben Affleck in a new interview.

The Hollywood singer, 51, made an appearance on the “Today” show Tuesday to discuss her new song “Love Make the World Go Round” with Lin-Manuel Miranda. However, host Hoda Kotb was also interested in knowing more about the real score between the exes.

Kotb attempted to get Lopez to talk about her relationship with the 48-year-old actor, but the “Let’s Get Loud” hitmaker refused to address the issue and quickly changed the subject.

“Look, I just have to tell you, every time I see a picture of you and Ben, I’m like, ‘She looks happier! She looks happier!’ Are we happier?” Kotb asked.

“The song is out. Five years since we’ve done it and I believe that that message of loving one another and coming together and love is never more relevant than it is right now,” Lopez was quoted by Page Six as saying in response to Kotb’s inquiry.

Kotb continued to convince Lopez to address the matter by reminding the latter that she’s her friend, and so she could tell her anything.

“Wait, it’s me you’re talking to, you know that?” Kotb said. But Lopez responded, “I know, you can call me. You have my number.”

After dodging the question, Lopez was later spotted while she was making her way to her offices in Los Angeles on the same day.

In the photos obtained by Daily Mail, Affleck’s rumored girlfriend could be seen wearing a flowing pink summer dress and towering heels. She was carrying a Valentino handbag and a diamante water cup, and she was also sporting large sunglasses.

The “Hustlers” actress and the “Gone Girl” actor were engaged between 2002 and 2004, but they went their separate ways after that. Affleck went on to marry Jennifer Garner in 2005, but the two officially divorced in 2018.

In April, Lopez and Affleck shocked their fans after they were spotted together, and their sighting quickly sparked dating rumors. Their reunion came after Lopez called it quits with ex Alex Rodriguez.

Last week, an unnamed source told Us Weekly that Lopez and Affleck are now ready to spend “the rest of their lives together” after rekindling their romance.
