Jeremy Lin Rumors: 3 Teams Interested in Trading For Atlanta Hawks Guard?

It's become well-established at this point that combo guard Jeremy Lin can be labeled a "journeyman." Since making his debut with the Golden State Warriors in October 2010, Lin became the toast of New York in 2011-12 during "Linsanity" with the Knicks but has since found himself on five other teams since then.

It's possible Lin may once again be on the move.

According to Sean Deveney of the Sporting News, the Atlanta Hawks are seeking a first-round pick for the 30-year-old. Deveney listed the Portland Trail Blazers, New Orleans Pelicans and Philadelphia 76ers as teams that have expressed interest in acquiring Lin.

The Blazers (26-17) have the fourth-best record in the West, while the Pelicans (20-22) have the 11th best record in the conference. The Sixers (27-16) are expected to be among the leading contenders for the Eastern Conference crown.

The Hawks are just 13-29 this season, owning the fourth-worst record in the East.

Lin has shown flashes of "Linsanity" this season, with two strong performances against the Toronto Raptors. On Tuesday, he made the most of his season-high 35 minutes, scoring 20 points on 8-10 shooting, while adding nine assists and four rebounds. On Nov. 21, Lin dropped 26 points on 11-13 shooting.

Lin, who has come off the bench in all but one game this season, is averaging 10.9 points and 3.5 assists per game over just 19.4 minutes. He is shooting 48.8 percent from the field and 36.1 percent from beyond the arc.

Over his career, Lin has averaged 11.9 points per game on 43.6 percent shooting and over 25.9 minutes.

The trade deadline is Feb. 7.
