Jessica Lowndes starred in her first Hallmark Movies and Mysteries film on Sunday, called “Magical Christmas Ornaments.”

The new flick, which premiered as part of the network’s Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas event, also featured Brendan Penny, who stars as Kevin O’Brien in Hallmark Channel’s drama series “Chesapeake Shores.”

To celebrate her debut on the network, but her third movie as part of the Hallmark family overall as she’s been in two Hallmark Channel movies, Lowndes threw a festive premiere viewing party with many of her friends.

“Hot apple cider ✔️ Ornaments on the tree ✔️ Twinkly lights ✔️ Cookie decorating station ✔️ Mistletoe ✔️,” Lowndes captioned a gallery of images from her Sunday night viewing party. “20 of my closest friends gathered in front of the TV decked out in UGLY Christmas sweaters to support my new Christmas movie on @hallmarkmovie... Priceless!”

The actress joined the Hallmark family with 2015’s “Merry Matrimony” with Christopher Russell and followed it up with 2016’s “A December Bride” with Hallmark all-star Daniel Lissing. With all of her social posts about her latest Hallmark flick, and first on the sister network, it’s clear that she’s very happy to be a part of the crew.

“Excited for tonight’s ugly sweater party/viewing with some of my favs,” she captioned a screenshot from her new film on Sunday.

The new Christmas movie was all about the magic of the holiday, literally, which is more than reason enough for Lowndes to be hyped to celebrate its release.

“Publishing executive Marie (Lowndes) finds her Christmas spirit reawakened when her mother begins sending her the family’s Christmas ornaments,” the official synopsis shares. “As each ornament arrives, it brings a positive change to Marie’s life, including an introduction to the handsome male nurse Nate (Penny) from next door.”

The movie and the party was so much fun that her friends couldn’t help but take to Instagram to continue their support of Lowndes.

“We’re so proud of you @jessicalowndes for the cutest @hallmarkmovie for #Xmas #magicalchristmasornaments,” Lowndes’ friend and reality TV star Katie Cazorla captioned a group party shot. “What a great reminder to just take a break and get into the holiday spirit! We love you!”

The next Hallmark Movies and Mysteries Most Wonderful Movies of Christmas premiere, “Christmas Encore,” airs on Saturday at 9 p.m. EST.
