Jessica Simpson is sharing the details of how a "massive movie star" wooed and pursued her in a new essay for Amazon Original Stories.

Simpson detailed her "sexy" yet "demeaning" connection with the unnamed A-list actor in a "short and true story" titled "Movie Star: They Always Say They're Single," published Wednesday.

The "Employee of the Month" star, 42, revealed that she first met the mystery actor at the 2001 MTV Video Music Awards, when she was on a break from Nick Lachey, 49.

"This megastar, who I grew up thinking was so hot, eyeballed me up and down. Like he was undressing me with his eyes," Simpson wrote, according to Us Weekly.

They quickly hit it off, but she initially "wasn't ready" to take things further following the VMAs afterparty. Simpson ended up running into the movie star again at a Los Angeles gym, where she invited him to star in an upcoming music video.

"'You could be my lead guy,' I offered to this man who made millions and millions per film," Simpson claimed in her essay.

However, she later declined to call the actor back as she reconciled with Lachey in September 2001.

After Lachey and Simpson divorced on June 30, 2006, the "Blonde Ambition" star reconnected with the unnamed actor and shared a kiss with him at the Beverly Hills Hilton.

The smooch, she recalled, gave her a "warm rush all the way down my body."

Simpson said the movie star told her at the time that his relationship with his girlfriend was "completely over." They then went on to hang out in nightclubs, at her mutual friend's house and even on a movie set, according to Page Six.

The "I Wanna Love You Forever" songstress said she eventually began to feel "like a call girl" who was only there to "have sex" with the mystery actor.

She recounted meeting him at a hotel through a private entrance and walking up the fire stairs to reach his room. She later realized that this was meant to "hide me from his chick," leading to her ending their secret romance.

"I didn't care if he was my teenage fantasy come to life, this was not a choice that same girl, my younger self, would be proud of," she wrote.

Simpson shared more details about the fling in an interview with People, admitting that she never thought she would share it because it was "very personal."

She also revealed some of the life lessons she learned from the secret romance.

"I learned you can't always take people at their very persuasive word — seems obvious but it really isn't when you are dealing with someone who sells it so well," she told the outlet.

She continued, "Not betraying your own heart and diminishing your self-worth actually feels so much better than immediate gratification if living in a lie. I also learned that there is a wide range of what monogamy means in Hollywood!"

While she refused to reveal the name of the mystery actor's name, Simpson told People, "I will tell you this... he is still a movie star!"

Simpson, who also dated singer John Mayer, stuntman Johnny Knoxville and athlete Tony Romo, has been married to NFL player Eric Johnson since 2014. The couple shares daughters Maxwell, 10, and Birdie, 3, as well as son Ace, 9.
