John Wall trade rumors are still up in the air with the 30-year-old stil clueless on what the future holds.

But until that time comes, the five-time NBA All-Star will continue to do his part in helping the community.

Wall handed out thousands of meals, as well as some gift cards and groceries, to families on behalf of the John Wall Family Foundation.

His initiatives have endeared him to Wizards fans. However, it could not be avoided that some would ask him if he was truly leaving Washington or not.

Regardless, Wall remains loved in D.C. even if he does leave. Some of the people in attendance during the event made sure he would know that.

One fan even said that even if he does pack his things and move to another city, he would still love him, TMZ Sports reported. That brought a smile to Wall’s face. But will it be enough?

Since word got out that he wanted out of the Wizards, Wall has opted to remain silent. Reporters have been trying to get him to talk, but their efforts have proven futile.

The possibility of seeing Wall move out of Washington was first reported by Shams Charania of The Athletic citing unnamed sources. The player on the other end is believed to be Russell Westbrook.

A trade that involves Wall and Westbrook makes sense, particularly in the financial aspect. Both are owed big money in the next couple of years that is nearly the same.

Westbrook has requested the Houston Rockets for a trade. He and James Harden seem well on their way to playing for new teams and Wall is unfortunately caught in the crossfire.

But this may not be the reason why Wall wants out. With Bradley Beal seen as the new top guy by the Wizards, the comments of general manager Tommy Sheppard during “The Lowe Post” struck a nerve.

Wall was caught off guard with those comments and feels it would be in the best interest of both sides to part ways. The top pick of the 2010 NBA Draft wants to play for a team where he will be appreciated.

Wall has not played competitive ball for the last 23 months due to a heel injury. His durability is another question for NBA teams before they make any move in acquiring the 6-foot-4 point guard.
