Johnny Depp already said he was Amber Heard’s victim before her audio confession leaked.

Depp was condemned by many after his ex-wife accused him of being violent and abusive. He was removed from the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise and his presence in J.K. Rowling’s “Fantastic Beasts” was slammed. Meanwhile, Heard signed more projects and appeared on various commercials.

Things only changed when Heard’s audio recording leaked last week. The “Aquaman” actress confessed that she hit Depp. She even taunted him to tell the world that he was the victim and see if people would believe him. Prior to all of this, Depp already said he was the victim.

In a statement Depp made in Virginia state court, when he filed a $50 million defamation case against Heard, the actor insisted that he never abused her. He also said that he would always deny the accusations against him all his life because he never did it.

“I never abused Ms. Heard or any other woman,” Depp said in the court document, Deadline reported. “She was the perpetrator, and I was the victim.”

“While mixing prescription amphetamines and non-prescription drugs with alcohol, Ms. Heard committed innumerable acts of domestic violence against me, often in the presence of a third-party witness, which in some instances caused me serious bodily harm,” the actor added.

Depp also denied Heard’s allegations that he smashed her on the face. The “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” star said in his statement that Heard only faked her bruises to obtain a temporary restraining order from him. There were witnesses and surveillance footage that show she did not possess any injury.

“I will continue to deny them for the rest of my life,” Depp added.

Heard’s friend and interior decorator Laura Divenere shockingly sided with Depp. According to her, she was with Heard on the days immediately following the allegations and she didn’t notice any signs of physical abuse or injury.

Following Heard’s confession, more and more are now supporting Depp. The online netizens are even calling Disney’s attention to take back Depp as Jack Sparrow as they continue to fight for justice for Depp.
