The coming season of “Dance Moms” may prove to be a bumpy ride for JoJo Siwa, but she continues to be a fan of the Lifetime series. Amid rumors she’s left Abby Lee Miller’s dance company, the 13-year-old triple threat has revealed her true thoughts on Season 6B.

“It’s been one of my faves,” JoJo dished to People, saying she considers the forthcoming episodes to be “a lot of fun.” Despite all the “drama” that tends to surround the show, JoJo said she still has positive feelings about coach Abby.

“She’s tough, but I love her,” JoJo said. “She makes me cry a lot, but you kind of just have to grab some tissues and go back in.”

JoJo’s comments came on the heels of reports she may have left the series. Rumors first began swirling after she failed to show up for a competition May 28, leading many to believe she may have left Abby’s elite junior team. Behind-the-scenes cast photographs and her absence at the next three competitions, most recently the cast’s appearance at Sheer Talent in Los Angeles June 18, only added fuel to the speculation. However, People reported JoJo’s “not done stealing the show just yet.”

“Dance Moms” Season 5 saw the introduction of JoJo and her mother, Jessalynn Siwa. Originally on Abby’s spinoff show, “Abby’s Ultimate Dance Competition,” JoJo has continued to be a fan favorite on “Dance Moms,” but it wouldn’t exactly be a shock in the event she did decide to leave. Her music video “Boomerang” has scored just shy of 30 million views on YouTube since its premiere last month, and she recently launched a line of bows with Claire’s. JoJo is also set to bring her talent to scripted TV with her cameo on Disney Channel’s “Bizaardvark,” which premieres Friday. Outside TV, she has a big online viewership with more than 733,000 subscribers to her YouTube channel and weekly segment “JoJo’s Juice.”

The Nebraska native wouldn’t be the first to leave “Dance Moms.” Abby’s longtime students Maddie Ziegler and Mackenzie Ziegler left the series after the Season 6 finale in May. Maddie’s departure was related to her growing acting career, although Abby has teased she will reconnect with the 13-year-old for a potential new project on TV. Several other students have also left the Abby Lee Dance Company over the years, including Chloe Lukasiak, who also has gone on to star in movies, Brooke Hyland, Paige Hyland and Asia Monet Ray.

A premiere date for the back half of “Dance Moms” Season 6 has not been announced by Lifetime.
