Jon Hamm agrees to “Mad Men” contract for three more years
Jon Hamm has agreed to continue the role of Don Draper in the hit series Man Men for three more seasons.
His new contract with Lionsgate Television Group has him committed to the role through season seven.
According to the Huffington Post, he will also get a major raise for fifth season and by the end of his contract, he will be making more than $250,000 per episode of Mad Men.
His original contract had him playing the part through season six of the show but the new contract that was written up will keep him through season seven.
A few months ago in March, the series creator, Matthew Weiner, signed a contract for season six and possibly seven.
Mad Men dealt with contract and negotiation issues several months which delayed its start date. The show is slated to return on screen in 2012.
