Josh Duhamel has opened up about his experience working with Jennifer Lopez.

Duhamel, 48, and Lopez, 51, just wrapped filming for their romantic-comedy movie "Shotgun Wedding" in the Dominican Republic. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the actor said he had a blast working with Lopez, whom he described as an "absolute pro."

"It was one of the most fun experiences I've had shooting, or working in this business," the "Safe Haven" actor told ET while promoting his upcoming show, "Jupiter's Legacy." "First of all, we're in the Dominican Republic, which is absolutely beautiful. Jen was a dream to work with, she's an absolute pro and totally engaged and loved the project."

According to Duhamel, he and Lopez immediately got in the groove from the beginning of shooting, and he's proud of the result of their hard work.

"We had a great relationship. I've known her forever so it was easy for us to get in lock and step," he shared. "The crew, the cast, we have a great cast and Jason Moore, the director, it was one of those situations that everything kind of fit perfectly. I'm very proud of the way it turned out and I can't wait for it all to come together."

"Shotgun Wedding" centers on a couple's destination wedding that gets hijacked by criminals. Lopez plays Darcy, the bride, while Duhamel stars as Tom.

Duhamel was not the first choice for the role as Armie Hammer was originally cast as Tom. However, the latter decided to leave the project in January after private messages allegedly written by him leaked and went viral.

Lopez and Duhamel’s "Shotgun Wedding" will hit theaters on June 29, 2022.

Meanwhile, multiple outlets reported that Lopez has been hanging out with her ex-fiancé Ben Affleck since her split from Alex Rodriguez last month.

Affleck has visited Lopez thrice in her home in Los Angeles, an unnamed insider told Page Six. "Security picks him up at a nearby location and drops him off after spending a few hours at her house," the source said.

An eyewitness told E! News that Affleck allegedly left his Mercedes at the Hotel Bel-Air Friday before he was picked up by Lopez's white Escalade SUV and taken to her house nearby. A few hours later, he was dropped off at the hotel with his backpack in tow, the source said.

But though fans have been speculating that "Bennifer" may be back together, Affleck and Lopez’s relationship is platonic, reports said. The exes reportedly maintained a friendship following their 2004 split.

"They are friends … they’ve never not been," another source told Page Six.
