Colin Trevorrow and his team are currently busy working on “Jurassic World 3.” The director recently released a behind-the-scenes video from the production set to give the fans a glimpse of the new robotic dinosaurs they are building for the upcoming film.

The “Jurassic World” franchise is known for its realistic dinosaurs that are created using a combination of CGI and practical effects. Trevorrow recently shared a video of a robotic dinosaur head that can be controlled using a wireless controller device.

The robot head is still a work in progress that only has the skeleton framework ready, and the skin needs to be added. The controller is able to change the eye movements, the jaw, and the tongue of the dinosaur.

According to Screen Rant, although the robotic head looks like a regular dinosaur it can actually be a hybrid. Genetic manipulation has been a big part of the new trilogy, with the first two movies introducing hybrids that were created using the genetic material of different dinosaurs.

There have been rumors that the plot of “Jurassic World 3” will be about a human dinosaur hybrid. This was in the script of “Jurassic Park 4” movie that never got made. The official plot of the film is still under wraps, so it remains to be seen what the new story will be about.

While the fans wait for the next dinosaur movie, the franchise has been releasing motion comics to keep the fans engaged. The official Twitter page of the movies has shared a teaser to the third episode of the comic, which is about the dinosaurs running loose in the cities in the US.

“Jurassic World 3” will be released on June 11, 2021. Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will be reprising their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing respectively. Veteran actors of the franchise Jeff Goldblum, Laura Dern, and Sam Neil will also be back.
