Justin Bieber recently opened up about the challenges of married life, and talked about how he and his wife Hailey Bieber were "blending our lives together."

In an interview with Radio.com on Tuesday, the 27-year-old singer said he was dealing with his own insecurities and fears while working on his last project.

"The last project, I was still working through my own emotional stuff in my own life and some insecurities and just some fears," he said. "And my wife and I were just so newly married, so there was just so much to navigate, we're now just blending our lives together and that's a challenging process."

"As that process became easier to predict, I think having that predictability changed my ability to just function at a more healthy level," Justin explained.

The singer also talked about how he prioritized time with his wife while working on various projects.

"I think as long as I do that throughout this tour. It's always like you live and you learn and you learn how to say no," he said. "There was this quote I heard the other day that went: 'Don't be resentful for something you say yes to, just do it. And when you're done reassess your boundaries and don't do it again.'"

Justin's interview comes a few days after Hailey told Elle magazine she was "insanely young" when she got married.

"I mean, I was married when I was 21, two months before I turned 22, which is insanely young," she noted. "And sounds almost ridiculous when you say it out loud. Although I do think for somebody like me and somebody like Justin, [it's different]. We've seen a lot for our age. We have both lived enough life to know that's what we wanted."

"I learn new things about him and about myself and about our relationship all the time," she added. "Do we have little fights and stuff that we have to work through sometimes? Yeah, of course, but it really doesn't ever feel like work, because I love him so much. I see forever with him."

The couple first started dating in 2015 and got married in 2019 in Bluffton, South Carolina.
