Korean boy band GOT7 will hold two concerts ahead of the release of their new album later this month. The seven-member group will also interact with their fans during the shows.

The group announced the news and shared a teaser poster on its Twitter page Tuesday.

"GOT7 2022 FANCON HOMECOMING with I GOT 7. SK OLYMPIC HANDBALL GYMNASIUM," the group tweeted.

The two-day concerts will be held as in-person events on May 21 and 22. The May 22 show will also be streamed online.

The upcoming events will be the group's first fan meeting following their sixth anniversary online show in December 2020. Incidentally, the concerts will be held at the same venue where GOT7 performed their first concert, "Fly in Seoul" in April 2016.

GOT7 fans, popularly known as Ahgase, thanked the group for reuniting and remembering the supporters even as the members have already embarked on solo projects.

"I can't get past the Location, this is truly memorable...pouring your heart + souls into this comeback--ilysfm. thank you for never leaving our side, as your chaotic comedy gold love TOGETHER was so missed," one person tweeted.

Another Twitter user said, "Homecoming meaning... I LOVE HOW much they love us and how much we love them too!"

"You're the only good in all the bad things that's happening to us today," wrote one fan.

GOT7 parted ways with K-pop training studio JYP Entertainment in January last year, seven years after they launched their first album, "Got It?" in 2014. The boy band members opted not to renew their contracts with JYP Entertainment but assured fans they will continue to release group projects regularly.

The group will release a self-titled album on May 23 under Warner Music Korea. The band announced this Sunday, a day after launching a new logo and social media channels.

GOT7 members Mark Tuan, Jackson Wang, Bambam, Youngjae, Yugyeom and Jay B have been pursuing solo musical careers since 2021. In January, Bambam released his second album, "B!" The 25-year-old Thai native said he was happy with the freedom he had as a solo artist but admitted that he sometimes "gets lonely" while performing alone.

The seventh member, Jinyoung, opted to become an actor. He has appeared in the dramas "Yumi's Cells" and "Yaksha: Ruthless Operations."
