K-pop star Yohan of the boy group TST (Top Secret) passed away Tuesday (June 16) at 28 years old. The reason for his death is still unknown.

Fans of the group from all over the world are mourning the loss of the artist, whose real name is Kim Jeong-hwan. The cause of death was not disclosed at the behest of his family. His agency, KJ Music Entertainment, asked fans and supporters of the K-pop star to avoid spreading rumors and to stop speculating about the celebrity’s demise.

“Back on June 16, TST member Yohan left this world. The late Yohan's family is currently in deep mourning. The family has pleaded that media articles about Yohan's passing, such as those making speculations about the cause of his death, be refrained out of respect. We express our deepest condolences in light of Yohan's final parting,” the agency confirmed in a statement.

As per reports, the wake is held at Severance Hospital in Sinchon, Seoul. Yohan will reportedly be laid to rest on June 18 in Yongin.

Yohan was initially part of the band NOM during his debut in 2015. The group later disbanded, and in 2017, he joined TST, whose other members are Yonghyeon, Alin and Junghoon.

Since its launch, TST has been actively producing music. In 2017, it debuted with “Time’s Up.” In the next few years, the group released “Paradise,” “Love Story,” and “Countdown.”

Yohan, who just celebrated his birthday in April, was also active on social media, but his last post was on May 31, with a caption that hinted at his wish to travel more.
