UPDATE: 11:20 a.m. EST — WOOD-TV, Grand Rapids, Michigan, reported suspected shooter Jason Dalton, 45, is an Uber Driver. WOOD said the suspect took fares between the shootings.

UPDATE: 7:20 a.m. EST — Police have released the mugshot of 45-year-old Jason Dalton, who has been identified as the suspect involved in a series of shootings in Kalamazoo, Michigan area.

“We have every reason to believe that there was only one shooter,” Kalamazoo County Prosecutor Jeff Getting said Sunday. “At this point, the only person I would anticipate being charged is him.”

Authorities revealed that of the six people dead in the incident, an 18-year-old and an adult male were killed in the shooting at a Ford dealership. Four adult women and a 14-year-old were shot at Cracker Barrel restaurant, WWMT-TV, a local news network, reported.

UPDATE: 6:58 a.m. EST — The suspect involved in a series of shooting in Kalamazoo, Michigan area, has been identified as 45-year-old Jason Dalton, Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety Chief Jeff Hadley, said, according to WWMT-TV, a local news network. Hadley added that Dalton has no criminal record.

The suspect shot dead six people at three different locations, Hadley said at a press conference Sunday. It was earlier reported that the death toll from the shooting was seven. A 14-year-old girl, who was said to be the seventh victim, is “still alive,” Hadley reportedly said.

The local network also reported that authorities were searching the house of the suspect.

UPDATE: 2:51 a.m. EST — A 14-year-old girl is the seventh victim to die in a series of shootings in Kalamazoo, Michigan area, police said, according to the Associated Press (AP). Michigan State Police Lt. Dale Hinz reportedly said that a 9-year-old girl, who was among the injured, is in critical condition.

UPDATE: 1:56 a.m. EST — A suspect involved in a series of shootings in Kalamazoo, Michigan area, has been taken into custody, police said, according to the Associated Press (AP).

The man was apprehended in downtown Kalamazoo, Undersheriff Paul Matyas told WWMT-TV, adding that the suspect did not resist arrest. He added that weapons were found in the man’s vehicle.

"The threat to the public is over. We now have our suspect,” Matyas said, according to the AP.

UPDATE: 1:30 a.m. EST — The suspect involved in a shooting at Kalamazoo, Michigan area, drove around in his car opening fire at people at three locations late Saturday, police said, according to the Associated Press (AP).

The locations of the shootings include a Cracker Barrel restaurant and a Ford dealership. The third location was an apartment complex. According to the police, the shootings are believed to be random and not targeted at any one in particular.

Six people have died in the incident and three have been injured, two of whom are in critical condition, the AP reported.

Six people have been killed and three injured in several shooting incidents in Kalamazoo, Michigan, late Saturday, police reportedly said. The suspect is reportedly still at large.

Police described the suspect as a 50-year-old white male, driving a dark blue or silver Chevy HHR SUV. Authorities reportedly said that the vehicle used by the suspect may have been damaged on passenger side from the hit-and-run incident.

"What It looks like, is we have somebody just driving around finding people and shooting them dead in their tracks," Kalamazoo County's Undersheriff Paul Matyas reportedly said.
