KEY POINTS

  • Kanye West's "Donda" album received a 6.0 rating on music review site Pitchfork
  • Peppa Pig's "Peppa's Adventures: The Album" received a 6.5 rating on the same site
  • Twitter users have mixed opinions on the ratings after Peppa shaded West on Twitter

Kanye West got roasted by Peppa Pig on Twitter after the latter's album got a better review rating than "Donda."

Peppa who is popular among preschoolers as an adorable character shaded West on Wednesday. She dragged "Donda" after "Peppa's Adventures: The Album" received a higher rating on music review site Pitchfork. West's "Donda" was awarded a 6.0 rating while Peppa Pig's album received a 6.5 rating, Page Six reported.

"Peppa didn’t need to host listening parties in the Mercedez-Benz stadium to get that .5," Peppa wrote on its official Twitter account with a dropped microphone and a pig snout emoji, as well as side-by-side pictures of the reviews.

Peppa immediately deleted the tweet but not before other netizens were able to take a screenshot of it. The now-deleted tweet remains a topic on the micro-blogging site. Some supported Peppa and agreed that her album is better than West’s. Others made fun of West focusing on Drake when he should have considered Peppa as among his competitors.

"Peppa’s new album is better than Donda and it’s factually correct," one wrote.

"@kanyewest was worried about @Drake when he should’ve kept his eye on Peppa #Donda," another commented.

"Probably some real bars on Peppa's joint because Donda only had 3 good songs and if it wasn't for the very last song #27 it would've only been 2 good songs," a third user wrote.

Meanwhile, many also backed West. For them, "Donda" is the rapper's best album yet.

"When has the media ever rated Kanye's albums high? Using random websites wrote by random people doesn’t really count. The independent gave 'Donda' a [zero] cus Manson was on it. Peppa Pig's album got a higher rating. If [you] truly think those ratings matter [you're] very lost," West's fan wrote.

"#donda is the best album Kanye West has ever created," another added.

"@kanyewest yo….. Kanye. Donda is one of the best, most creative pieces of art man. This gives me so much inspiration. You’re a blessing. Thank you brother," a third fan tweeted.

West hosted several listening parties before his 10th studio album was dropped Friday. His last event was in his hometown in Chicago on Aug. 26. Almost 40,000 fans were invited to the Soldier Field stadium. Controversial rapper DaBaby and rock star Marilyn Manson were also in attendance, the BBC reported.

His ex-wife Kim Kardashian was present at all of his listening parties. The "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star also made a grand entrance in the last event by arriving in a Balenciaga wedding dress.

The exes fueled the rumors that they were back together because they left the event together while holding hands. They haven't reconciled yet, but West is trying to win back the 40-year-old reality star, a source told Entertainment Tonight.
