The Kardashian family may not be going off air for good because they could be coming back with another show, according to an insider.

This week, the Kardashian-Jenner clan announced that their reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" will be ending after its 20th season in 2021. Many were brokenhearted because they will miss the show, but some were ecstatic because finally the family won't be shown on TV, with some even saying it's the best news they received so far this 2020. However, the end of "KUWTK" doesn't mean that the family will be off the air for good because they are not "ruling out a show or shows in the future."

"Although they do plan to take some time off after ‘KUWTK’ is done filming, if they are offered something that works for them and makes sense, they’d consider it," a source told Entertainment Tonight.

"The family has become bigger than ever and moving forward, they can be selective in the work they do. Also, their name pulls weight, and they can have control of their brand, which they weren’t able to do when they first signed on to do the show because no one knew them."

"KUWTK" producer Ryan Seacrest also told ET that they have yet to "cross the bridge" of a potential new show. But he said the family is grateful for the opportunity E! gave to them.

Meanwhile, the source also added that the reality stars will be busier than ever after the final season because they will be branching out.

The news about “KUWTK” wrapping up after the next season surprised many fans with some saying they thought the show would run forever. But a source told ET that it was a mutual decision.

Following the announcement, many wondered what’s next for Kris Jenner. Many asked if the momager would be joining “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.” Andy Cohen said Jenner would be a good addition to the show, but he’s not convinced that she would do it.

"Why would she leave and join a show that she has no control over? She wouldn’t be an executive producer of the show, she wouldn’t have control over the edits, so I think for someone who is used to having so much power over a show, I can’t see her surrendering that power," Cohen said.

"It would be a huge get, I really don’t think she would do it… I don’t think she would do it as a friend."
