Karrueche Tran-Chris Brown Update: Amid Soulja Boy Instagram Feud, Ex-Girlfriend Responds

Model Karrueche Tran does not want to get involved in the drama between her ex-boyfriend, “Loyal” singer Chris Brown, and Soulja Boy. The two fought Tuesday after Brown was supposedly angry the rapper “liked” one of Tran’s sultry Instagram photos.

“First off this drama between the both of these two is so ridiculous it makes no sense,” Tran wrote Tuesday. “We just brought in a new year and this what we doing? Leave the extra’d out, rah rah s--- behind. This isn’t cool or funny… it’s draining… not just for me… but for everyone. There’s so much more there in life than ‘Twitter beefs.’”

Brown, 27, claimed he commented on Tran’s page because he wanted to make her feel good, or “poppin,” but Tran, 28, didn’t buy that explanation. “You know what makes me feel poppin? Getting up and going to set, walking in my apartment and seeing my Emmy with my name on it, giving away shoes and feeding the less fortunate [and] being able to provide for my family with my own $$,” she wrote. “That’s what makes me feel good about myself.”

As for the drama between Brown and Soulja Boy, she wants to be left out of it. Instead, Tran is going to focus on her career and health. “I been chillen, working, eating my veggies, hitting these squats and minding my own business and that’s exactly how I want to keep it.”

Previously, Brown denied that he called Soulja Boy to complain he “liked” Tran’s photo. “Let me let the cat out the bag for all the readers,” he wrote Tuesday. “I commented on her pics for this fact only: SO THAT NO MATTER HOW STUPID I LOOKED, SHE WOULD FEEL POPPIN. I HAVE THE MEANS AND CONNECTIONS TO CONTACT HER. Y’all soaked it up. I LOVE IT.”
