Kate Middleton reportedly copied Meghan Markle at the Wimbledon on Sunday by wearing a pricey yellow summery dress to the tournament.

Middleton’s attire was designed by Dolce & Gabbana, and it reportedly costs roughly around $1,500. The yellow dress featured frilled sleeves that fell to the knees of the Duchess of Cambridge. It was also nipped around the waist to show off her much slender figure.

The 36-year-old mom of three just gave birth to Prince Louis less than three months ago. Royal fans are impressed with how much weight the Duchess has lost since then. But Middleton made headlines due to the similarity of her Wimbledon dress to Markle’s yellow sleeveless dress rather than her weight loss.

Earlier this month, the Duchess of Sussex was photographed in her yellow Brandon Maxwell dress, which she wore to the Commonwealth Youth Challenge reception at Marlborough House. The dress is estimated at $1,400.

Markle’s dress also accentuated her slim figure because it featured an A-line finish.

In related news, Middleton and Markle do not only have similar tastes in fashion. The two duchesses have also developed a close friendship with each other. Judi James, a body language expert, recently told the Daily Mail that Markle is morphing into Middleton.

Middleton and Markle attended the Wimbledon Women’s Singles Final on Saturday, and they were photographed having a good time. James said that it was evident Markle “face-watched” Middleton the entire time they were together.

“Royal newbie Meghan is clearly still learning on the job and her lower-key poses with Kate plus some of her face-watching signals suggested she was picking up protocol tips from her new sister-in-law,” she said.

James also said that Middleton didn’t seem to mind that Markle observed her during their solo outing.

“The ‘rounded’ apple cheeks plus the crinkling around the corners of the eyes showed the happiness to be the new royal double-act was mutual and genuine,” she added.

Throughout the tournament, the two female royals were also seen leaning into each other’s ears and whispering things to each other. James said that this suggests “high levels of rapport and like-minded thinking.”
