Kate Middleton is reportedly pregnant with her and Prince William’s fourth child.

Before the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge kicked off their Christmas break last month, rumors have been ripe that the royal couple would be making an announcement about Middleton’s fourth pregnancy.

Now, Woman’s Day has claimed that Prince William and Middleton found out that they're expecting another bundle of joy before the holidays. However, the royal couple decided to delay making an announcement until after Middleton reaches her second trimester.

“They’re still keeping mum on it, but all signs are pointing to the fact that there’s another little heir on the way. Kate and William have always said that four is their magic number, and the timing couldn’t be better given the difficult few months the royal family has endured,” an unnamed source said.

Prince William and Middleton reportedly informed Queen Elizabeth about the pregnancy but they chose to keep the information hush-hush with the other members of the royal family, including Prince Charles.

However, it is best to take these claims with a grain of salt and to wait for an official announcement from the palace.

Still, this isn’t the first time that the Duchess of Cambridge is rumored to be pregnant with baby number four. In fact, there have been claims that she will become pregnant this year alongside Princess Eugenie and Meghan Markle.

Last year, Ladbrokes spokesperson Alex Apati said that they have already suspended the betting on Middleton’s pregnancy because they believe that she will give birth this year.

At that time, the odds for Markle to announce her second pregnancy were at 8/11. And Princess Eugenie, who has been married to Jack Brooksbank, for over a year, is at ½.

“Royal fans reckon Kate is showing early signs of a potential pregnancy. We’ve welcomed two royal babies into the world in as many years and punters are seemingly confident Kate will make it three in three. Kate and Will have made it clear they’re keen to add to their family in the past and with a second baby soon to be expected from Harry and Meghan, we’re strapping ourselves in for a hectic 2020,” Apati told Express.
