Kate Middleton has reportedly exerted the effort to help Meghan Markle during a very difficult time in her life. The Duchess of Sussex recently said that she has not been doing well amid all of the criticisms being thrown at her.

While speaking with New Idea, royal expert Phil Dampier said that the Duchess of Cambridge agreed to draw a line under any issues she and Prince William had with Prince Harry and Markle. The mom of three wants to reunite with the Sussexes and revive their foursome.

Dampier said that Middleton phoned Markle and tried to patch things up with her. The two Duchesses’ phone conversation turned out well.

“Behind the scenes, I’m told Kate is doing her best to bring everyone together and help Meghan. None of them want to let the Queen down so Kate is trying to patch things up in private. I’m told she has reached out to Meghan and spoken to her on the phone. Kate feels sorry for her and knows that Meghan is struggling,” Dampier said.

The royal expert also shared details from Middleton and Markle’s alleged conversation. Prince William’s wife reportedly told Prince Harry’s wife that she also went through a similar thing when she first joined the royal family.

“Catherine has told Meghan that every royal – including herself – goes through a bad patch with the press but the important thing is to learn by mistakes, move on and get through it. Kate had to go through the mill herself when she was dating William, when she was dubbed Waity Katie and when they split up for a spell,” Dampier said.

Middleton added that she also endured the rumors that Prince William was having an affair. But through it all, she has opted to stay silent and she retained her dignity. At the end of the day, the last thing that Prince William and Middleton want is for Prince Harry and Markle to leave the United Kingdom for good so they are figuring out ways on how to make them stay.
