Kate Middleton reportedly extended an olive branch at Meghan Markle to end their alleged feud.

While speaking on the podcast “Royals,” royal commentator Angela Mollard talked about Middleton and Markle’s rekindled friendship and said that some people think that it’s just a PR exercise. However, she is convinced that Middleton and Markle have somehow patched things up.

“This is Kate being a decent person. She is a good, well-brought-up, kind, ultimately very friendly person… I think what she’s done, is gone, ‘We went to the tennis together last year together, let’s go again, let’s make it an annual event…’ She popped Meghan between herself and her sister Pippa when it could have been so easy for the sisters to sit together and put Meghan on the end,” she said.

During the Duchesses recent outing at Wimbledon, Mollard said that it was evident that Middleton took the lead. She made sure to make her sister-in-law feel welcome. At one point, Prince William’s wife also removed her sunglasses so that she could look Markle in the eye while they were talking.

“A few body language experts – which, to be fair I listen to the experts when it seems to fit my theory, on this occasion, I’m dismissing them because few said Meghan had her torso towards the court and didn’t turn to face Kate. I think probably poor Meghan, who got a hammering over the tennis when she had the seats cleared around her, that exploded really badly, really bad PR for her,” she said.

The royal commentator went on to say that Middleton simply wanted Prince Harry’s wife to have a nice time at Wimbledon. And as such, she and Markle both acted like grownups.

But shortly after the two female royals’ outing, news broke out that Middleton and Markle avoided each other at Balmoral. Queen Elizabeth was also rumored to have snubbed Prince William and Middleton this summer in favor of Prince Harry and Markle.
