Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have just been pitted against each other once again.

The Duchess of Sussex is being criticized for taking a private jet four times during her 11-day vacation with Prince Harry and Archie. Even though Elton John already came to the royal couple’s defense, thousands of people still don’t understand why the Sussexes have not been doing their share to protect the environment.

And to make things worse, the possible excuse that Archie is still very young to travel commercial has just been debunked. In 2013, Kate Middleton took a British Airways flight from London to St. Lucia with her then-6-month-old son, Prince George.

The Duchess of Cambridge was accompanied by three royal bodyguards. According to sources, Prince George didn’t make a fuss during the long flight. And the royals only took a private jet from St. Lucia to the secluded island of Mustique because that was the only way for them to get there.

Middleton’s move is being praised by royal fans especially since she holds a higher position than Markle. The mom of three is married to the future king, which means that she will also be Queen someday.

Markle, on the other hand, is married to Prince Harry, who will never become King. And as such, the “Suits” alum will never wear the crown either. But by the looks of it, Middleton has more regard for the environment.

Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time that the Sussexes were slammed for their controversial decision. Earlier this year, Markle was also criticized for taking a private jet to New York for her baby shower.

A flight from London to New York is not that long, and royal fans said that it would have been more practical for the Duchess of Sussex to take a commercial flight. Markle’s friends, George and Amal Clooney, reportedly shouldered the cost of her flights to and from London.
