The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s youngest son made his debut at Trooping the Colour last June. Many noticed that the little royal looked so cute even with his “grumpy” face.

A netizen shared an edited video of Middleton carrying Prince Louis during the event on Instagram. The short clip was digitally altered with Middleton’s face being replaced. The man’s face in the clip appears to be grouchy while talking to Prince Louis and telling the little boy to behave properly.

Prince Louis’s grumpy impression isn’t new to the toddler. He has the same facial expression in many photos.

A few weeks ago, the Army in London shared a photo with Prince William carrying the toddler. They posed alongside Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Middleton is noticeably missing from the picture, but then Prince Louis has the same “grumpy” expression.

“Loving the three separate reactions. George behaves by looking at the camera, Louis pouts as if to say ‘get that damn camera out of my face’ and Charlotte doesn’t care because there’s a dog,” one netizen commented on the photo.

“Louis’s facial expression is too funny. He’s so not feeling this photo,” another fan wrote.

A different user said that Prince Louis always looks “grumpy.” Many find the 1-year-old royal’s reaction hilarious.

There are rumors that Prince William and Middleton are expecting another baby and it could be a girl. According to an insider, “all signs suggest that an official announcement from Kensington Palace is imminent.”

Princess Charlotte has reportedly been asking for a sister to play with. Also, other insiders said that Middleton wants a sister for Prince Louis, one that is close to his age because she loves Prince George and Princess Charlotte’s relationship.

“I always thought Kate wanted to have three children because she comes from a family of three siblings, but now I’m convinced she’s delighted to have four,” Phil Dampier said.

“You can see what a wonderful mother she is and she would also love little Louis to have a sister of a similar age, just as George has Charlotte.”
