Kate Middleton's possible fourth pregnancy has been discussed online recently amid Meghan Markle's impending birth, but the Duchess of Cambridge put the baby talks to rest over the weekend.

On Sunday, Middleton joined her husband Prince William at the annual St. Patrick's parade honoring Irish Guards, People reported. During the event, which took place in Hounslow at the 1st Battalion Irish Guards' base, Duchess Kate confirmed once and for all that she is not pregnant with her fourth child when she sipping on Guinness with Prince William.

Last year, she also attended the St. Patrick's Day event while pregnant with her third child, Prince Louis, At the time, she chose to drink water instead of booze.

Rumors that Middleton was expecting Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis' younger sibling were recently fueled when she and Prince William visited Northern Ireland. During a walkabout in Ballymean, Duchess Kate said a comment that had people speculating that she and Prince William may be ready to welcome a fourth child.

At the time, she stopped to talk to a well-wisher named Alan Barr, who brought along his infant son, James.

"He’s gorgeous. It makes me feel broody," Kate said of the infant, according to Barr.

When Barr directly asked Middleton if she and Prince William may soon welcome "baby number four," Middleton only laughed and said (via People), "I think William would be a little worried."

Bookies Ladbrokes recently reported that the odds of the royal couple having another child had been slashed. Punters have based bets at 10/1 for the duchess to have another baby this year. Odds on her announcing a pregnancy this year were at 5/2, Hello! reported.

But while she may not be adding to her brood just yet, Middleton and Prince William will soon have another baby to dote on. Prince Harry and Markle are set to welcome their first child in April, and the Duchess of Sussex has already started maternity leave.

Middleton previously revealed that she was very excited about the arrival of the new royal baby, who will likely be Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis' playmate in the future. "It's such a special time to all have kiddies," Middleton said during a visit to Leicester University. "And a cousin for George and Charlotte as well, and Louis. So it will be really special."
