Kate Middleton admitted that she also struggled with “mom guilt.”

The Duchess of Cambridge has opened up about her struggles with motherhood. According to the future queen, just like the other mothers, she also struggles with “mom guilt.”

In an interview with the “Happy Mum, Happy Baby Podcast,” Middleton shared her experiences with parenting. She confessed that it was hard for her to leave her kids to attend her royal duties.

“Yes, absolutely — and anyone who doesn’t as a mother is actually lying!” Middleton said (via People ).

“Yep — all the time. You know, even this morning, coming to the nursery visit here, George and Charlotte were like, ‘Mummy, how could you possibly not be dropping us off at school this morning?’”

Middleton, who shares three kids with Prince William, Prince George, 6, Princess Charlotte, 4, and Princes Louis 1, recognized how difficult it is for parents to be torn between their children and other priorities. She said that this thing is a “constant challenge” and is something that one hears time and time again even among moms who aren’t working.

Host Giovanna Fletcher chimed in saying that “there’s always something to feel guilty over.” Middleton agreed saying, “exactly.”

“And always sort of questioning your own decisions and your own judgements and things like that, and I think that starts from the moment you have a baby!” Middleton added.

In the same podcast, Middleton opened up about her amazing grandmother. She also shared how time is very important for children.

“I had an amazing Granny who devoted a lot of time to us—playing with us, doing arts and crafts, and going to the greenhouse to do gardening, and cooking with us—and I try and incorporate a lot of the experiences that she gave us at the time into the experiences that I give my children now,” Middleton said.

Prince William and Middleton are currently on leave from their royal duties. Prince George and Princess Charlotte are enjoying their half-term break from school and the future king and queen want to spend time with their children.
