Kate Middleton stepped out with Princess Diana’s jewelry a day after Meghan Markle’s delivery.

According to Emily Hodgkin, a journalist for Express, the Duchess of Cambridge wore the late Princess of Wales $45,000 earrings on Tuesday. The sighting came a day after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge reunited to launch the Kings Cup Regatta at Cutty Sark, Greenwich, London. Middleton paired the piece with a nautical look to fit the event.

Prince William and Middleton were very sweet on the said outing as they share their delight for their nephew’s arrival. The royal couple, who isn’t as tactile as Prince Harry and Markle, was photographed packing on a rare PDA at the event. Prince William was caught placing a hand at Middleton’s back as they walked their way to the venue.

Middleton has been seen wearing various items from the Queen and Princess Diana’s collection. Previous reports claimed that Markle was banned from using those pieces. Queen Elizabeth II reportedly banned the Duchess of Sussex from enjoying the said privilege because she was not impressed with Markle’s demands, especially that she’s just a new member of the royal family.

“The Queen is in charge of the royal collection, a massive collection of all of the artIfacts that the country and the Royal Family own,” The Sun journalist Dan Wootton said on ITV’s “Lorraine.”

“Included in that are some iconic prices of jewellery, many of which have been leant to Princess Diana.”

He added that Queen Elizabeth II has to give permission for any member of the royal family to wear any of those jewelry items. The Queen has apparently permitted Middleton to use the items from her collection as the Duchess of Cambridge has been seen wearing certain pieces from the vault.

However, some sources denied the rumors that Markle was banned from using the Queen’s jewelry collection. One insider said that the claims circulating are “simply not true.”

In related news, based on Middleton and Markle’s body language when they made their first baby debut, Patti Wood felt that the Duchess of Cambridge is more comfortable with the role. She finds Markle “physically uncomfortable” during baby Archie’s debut and the strain showed on her face. There was also a visible tension around Markle’s ankles and feet.
