Kate Middleton will join Prince William on his next trip.

According to Kara Godrey, a journalist for Express, Middleton will accompany her husband, Prince William, on his next trip abroad. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are bound to visit Yukon in Canada in September.

The royal couple has visited Canada in 2011 and 2016. On their second visit, Prince William and Middleton took their kids, 3-year-old Princess Charlotte and 5-year-old Prince George, along with them. It was their first overseas trip as a family of four at the time.

In June, Prince William visited Jordan during his Middle East tour. Middleton, who grew up in the country, was reportedly "upset" that she couldn't join the duke. The royal mom-of-three was still on maternity leave at the time after giving birth to their youngest child, Prince Louis, in April.

"She will be thrilled. She loved it here, she really did. She is very upset that I am coming here without her," Prince William said.

During the trip, Prince William attended a reception and addressed Middleton's absence. According to the royal dad-of-three, his wife is "sorry" for missing the trip and added that Middleton and her family have fond memories of Jordan.

"My wife Catherine is very sorry she cannot be here with me so soon after the birth of our son Louis, but her family remembers very fondly the almost three years she spent here as a child when her father worked for British Airways in Amman," Prince William explained.

"Catherine's experience is not unique - the interchange between our two countries is real and deep: work, study, tourism and family links. Our historic ties and friendship are played out in the lives of thousands of people who consider both countries home," he added.

For now, Prince William and Middleton are enjoying their annual vacation in Mustique. The couple reportedly traveled to the island with their three children and her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to return to England this week to attend a special event.

Prince William and Middleton will reunite with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle at Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenk's wedding. The Duke of Sussex will serve as the groom's best man.
