Kate Middleton’s outfits in Pakistan have been praised.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Pakistan last week and many were very impressed with their royal visit. In fact, according to royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams, the royal couple gave the tour a personal feel while respecting the protocol they must abide by. He also praised the duchess’ wardrobe during the entire trip.

“Then there was the fashion where Kate’s outfits seemed exquisitely appropriate for each occasion and included a homage to Diana on arrival with an outfit designed by Catherine Walker,” Fitzwilliams told Express.

He also pointed out how Prince William made headlines for wearing traditional clothing when he and Middleton attended an evening reception in Islamabad. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge also wore the feathered Chitrali headgear similar to what Princess Diana donned when the late Princess of Wales visited the Islamic republic.

Middleton only spent a modest amount on her wardrobe for the entire trip. According to Daily Mail, Prince William’s wife only spent $16,200 for new outfits which included a glittering dress by her favorite designer Jenny Packham and traditional outfits by Mahee Khan.

According to Karine Laudort, a fashion expert commentator, Middleton chose a very simple style. Her choice of fabric and style also reflected the country she visited. The expert also pointed out how Middleton opted for a non-ostentatious wardrobe where “less is more” with a very affordable price range.

Prince William and Middleton’s Pakistan tour was deemed to be a huge success. Royal biographer Katie Nicholl was amazed at how they exerted special effort to communicate with the press and expressed their appreciation for the host country.

Nicholl said that the couple “aced their relatable tour of Pakistan” and added that Prince William and Middleton might receive a congratulatory letter from the Queen. Fitzwilliams also described the tour as “sensational.”

“This aspect of the tour has been sensational. William spoke of the urgency of combating climate change after their trip to see the melting glaciers in the mountain ranges of Pakistan. Kate also spoke about the importance of family to give children a fairer chance in life.”
