Kate Middleton’s fashion on Christmas Day was criticized.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Princess Anne and Camilla Parker Bowles for their traditional morning Christmas service. For the first time, Prince William and Middleton’s two eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte were also present.

The duchess looked stunning in her custom Catherine Walker gray double-breasted coat that featured a fashion faux fur detailing on the neckline and sleeves. It also featured a belt at the waist. Prince William’s wife also wore sheer black nylones, suede emerald green pumps and a matching small green fascinator to complete her festive look. However, not everyone was impressed by the future queen’s fashion choices this time.

“What in the name of Robin Hood costume is #KateMiddleton #DuchessofCambridge wearing? This is an awful outfit— it’s making my eyes hurt. I’m sorry, I love fashion but NO. And i hope this isn’t real fur? Because if it is, it’s time we stopped with it in fashion,” one wrote on Twitter.

Another netizen said that the color was “hideous” and it was too small which made it a bad option. Another online user agreed and said that the shape and color of the hat did not complement Middleton’s coat.

Bee Well agreed that Middleton’s choice of outfit for the said outing was not the best. For her, opting for a black coat would have been better and added that the duchess choice of color was disgusting.

In related news, the Cambridges just released a new family photo. In the black and white snap, Prince William can be seen kissing Prince Louis while Princess Charlotte stands behind him and Prince George comfortably sits on a chair. Middleton is visibly missing because she was behind the camera. The duchess took the intimate family photo.

However, some accused the Cambridges of copying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle simply because the photo was in black and white. Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s photo on their Christmas e-card sparked controversy, with some saying that it was photoshopped.
