Kate Middleton has elegant style choices for her wardrobe.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been praised for her fashion choices. Those who have been following Middleton since she became the future king’s girlfriend and now that they are married with three kids would agree that her wardrobe has changed.

Kate Stacey, Head of Buying at Pure Collection, said that Middleton’s outfits speak for her future role as queen. Stacey noted that Middleton’s role has become more prominent and this is reflected in her choice of outfits.

“The Duchess of Cambridge's style has undoubtedly evolved as her royal duties have increased in both their frequency and importance. She is carrying a great weight of responsibility in 2020, as both a mother and leading royal. She has to dress the part,” Stacey explained to Express.

“Her days as a student, sporting the see-through dress that reportedly first drew Prince William's attention to her, and the fashionably short skirt and fishnet tights she wore in the back of a taxi before entering nightclub Mahiki, are well and truly in the past.”

When Middleton was younger, she dressed like most ladies her age. She was photographed wearing shorts, sleeveless and skinny jeans. However, when she started going out with Prince William, she started to dress appropriately for the royal.

One netizen even commented that Middleton’s “hemlines got longer and the necklines got higher.” The same online user noted that the duchess is a beautiful person no matter what she wears.

Stacey explained that at present, the royal mom of three has embraced an “impeccably elegant way of dressing.” For casual duties, Middleton usually dresses with well-cut jumpers in premium fabrics and denim.

The expert also noted that Prince Harry’s sister-in-law is fond of championing British brands and whatever she wears tends to sell out immediately. The future queen consort is also popular for recycling her clothes.

In fact, Middleton’s fans want to see her again wearing the black dress she wore at the annual Sun Military Awards in London on Dec. 19, 2011. The dress was designed by Alexander McQueen. The velvet gown highlighted Middleton’s slim figure and everyone agreed that she looked stunning and gorgeous in it.
