Kate Middleton shares an expected close bond with a certain male royal and he is neither Prince Charles nor Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Cambridge shares an unexpected bond with a male senior royal other than her husband and it’s not the Prince of Wales or the Duke of Sussex but Queen Elizabeth II’s husband, Prince Philip.

Body language expert Judi James explained a photo of Prince Philip and Middleton while they were standing on the balcony. Based on their gestures, Prince William’s grandfather and wife share the same sense of humor.

“Both royals tend to be fans of protocol at public events but Philip's animated chat here puts could have put them firmly on the naughty step, as judging from the poses of the rest of the group they are having a chat and a giggle during a fly-past,” James explained to Express.

She also pointed out how the duchess was happy to give her attention to the Duke of Edinburgh while still making sure that her kids were doing well.

“Kate manages to control her two boisterous children with her hands while turning her head to pay full eye-attention to Philip. Her dimpled smile and softened eye expression show genuine affection but her fully opened-mouth laugh suggests she's finding Philip's comments genuinely hilarious.”

James also noted that Middleton and Prince Philip are perfect partners in crime based on the way they communicate to each other.

“This intensity of eye-gaze defines this as a contagious smile, forged to encourage a complimentary response in the other person and Kate's grin shows he's found the perfect partner in crime here,” James said.

In related news, Prince Philip became a victim of death hoax again. Just recently, a lot of netizens were asking on Twitter about the duke’s health due to the rumors circulating online that he already passed away. Apparently, the reports were not true and the 98-year-old royal is currently in Windsor Castle with the Queen.

According to Zahra Mulroy, Prince Philip wants no fuss for his funeral. He needs it to be a “little more simple” and prefers a more intimate event with his family, friends and the heads of state from Commonwealth countries.
