Kate Middleton’s first pregnancy reportedly inspired women everywhere, a royal expert has claimed.

In the Amazon Prime documentary “William and Kate: The Journey,” royal expert Ashley Pearson said that Middleton’s pregnancy style struck a chord with other expecting women across the globe.

According to Pearson, women all over the world praised the Duchess of Cambridge for her choice of dress when she introduced Prince George just hours after giving birth.

“A lot of women when they first have a baby are very self-conscious about the fact that often at times, they still look pregnant, they still have a very swollen stomach. Kate was not at all ashamed of this, in fact, she wore a dress that highlighted the fact that she still has a very rounded tummy,” she said.

Middleton was photographed in her blue polka dot summer dress in the summer of 2013. She was carrying Prince George in her arms, while Prince William stood beside them outside St. Mary’s Hospital’s Lindo Wing.

“A lot of women praised her for this and said that it made a difference. It emphasized the fact that women don’t need to be ashamed of their bodies when they’ve had a baby,” Pearson said.

Two years later, Middleton once again made her first appearance in the same spot when she gave birth to Princess Charlotte. The Duchess of Cambridge recently gave birth to Prince Louis at the same hospital.

In related news, Middleton also made headlines this week after it was reported that she was threatened by Meghan Markle’s appearance on the royal scene. Royal expert Carole Malone said that the mom of three may have been threatened by Markle’s arrival because she was used to being the pretty royal that was always photographed.

When Markle got engaged to Prince Harry in November 2017, the Duchess of Sussex became the talk of the town. Everywhere she went she was followed by photographers, and royal fans raved about how beautiful she is. But Malone noted that Middleton and Markle have very different personalities and should never be compared.
