Kate Middleton knows what to do to maintain her flat abs.

The Duchess of Cambridge has been able to maintain her figure after giving birth to three royal babies. According to Lauren Weiler, when it comes to maintaining her abs, Middleton's secret is doing planks.

Prince William's wife reportedly loves this routine and its variations so much. In fact, Middleton can hold the basic plank, side plank and prone sky dive for 45 seconds or longer and repeat it at least 10 times each.

Aside from doing planks, Middleton's slim physique can also be attributed to her diet. She only uses fresh ingredients, consumes plenty of produce and limits processed goods. The Duchess of Cambridge is reportedly a fan of eating raw foods whenever possible for the added nutrients. When Middleton was pregnant, her diet included berries, avocados, and oatmeal.

In general, the royal mom of three's approach to food is "more protein, less unhealthy carbs." Her good healthy habits are the reason behind her trim figure.

Middleton has also easily shed the extra weight she gained during her pregnancies. According to Professor Bulbul Dhar-James, Middleton told her, her secret to returning to her post-baby figure easily.

"I am running after my kids," Middleton said.

In related news, according to a psychologist, based on Middleton's choice of clothing, she's comfortable in her role in the Firm compared to her sister-in-law Meghan Markle who felt that she needed to prove herself.

"Prior to her engagement, we saw more of a Hollywood-chic aesthetic—artfully distressed with an eye on trends. This is a moment where we see a shift into royal formality. She knows there will be different expectations now that she's entered the family, and that transition is reflected in her style choices," Dr. Anna Akbari explained to Cosmopolitan.

On the other hand, Middleton appears preppy, super colorful with her full skirts, cheery patterns and coat dresses. According to the expert, Middleton opted for these outfits because it's "pretty timeless and hard to critique."

"She's mastered that look, and it suits her. Imagining Meghan Markle in the same style would feel forced—she's never been preppy, so it would be weird to see her fully embracing that." Akbari continued.

Even Middleton's mom loves her wardrobe. Carole Middleton was seen in a burnt-orange coat when she visited her daughter Pippa. Middleton was first seen wearing the said coat in January.
