Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle and Princess Eugenie reportedly copied a particular item that Queen Elizabeth II loves for their weddings.

According to Latifa Yedroudj, a journalist for Express, the Duchess of Cambridge, Duchess of Sussex and Princess Eugenie all had sheer pink nail polish when they walked down the aisle. They apparently took some cues from Queen Elizabeth as this is the monarch's favorite nail look.

Queen Elizabeth II is a huge fan of a pastel pink nail polish called Essie. In fact, in 1989, the Queen's hairdresser ordered a bottle of Essie's nail polish in the color Ballet Slippers and had it sent to Buckingham Palace. The younger royals, including Middleton, Markle and Princess Eugenie, have been seen wearing the same shade over the years.

"We're incredibly proud that the Queen and Kate Middleton have enjoyed our products over the years," Essie spokesperson said in 2017. "At Essie, we strive to create beautiful, professional colours that appeal to every woman for every occasion."

"'Ballet Slippers' is by far one of our most popular shades, and it's great to see it has a loyal following amongst all," the spokesperson said about the color that the Queen's hairdresser ordered for her.

Royal women are advised to keep their makeup look natural. They are also prohibited from wearing red nail polish. However, Princess Eugenie previously broke this rule with her extreme nail art.

In 2015, Princess Eugenie caused a stir with her deep red manicure with a festive design during the Buckingham Palace annual Christmas luncheon. In 2012, she showed her patriotic side with a Union Jack manicure when she watched the Epsom Derby.

Princess Eugenie walked down the aisle and tied the knot with Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12. The bride looked beautiful and gorgeous in her wedding gown. Many were pleased with her choice of wedding gown.

Earlier, Richard Fitzwilliams advised Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's daughter to pick an ideal wedding dress following the fashion faux pas she and Princess Beatrice made at Prince William and Middleton's royal wedding in 2011.

"There are members of the royal family who are style icons but this could not be said of Eugenie who has not distinguished herself in the sartorial stakes so far," Fitzwilliams said. "I think she will choose a delightful wedding dress and the wedding itself will be charming… Memories of Beatrice and Eugenie's outfits at William and Kate's wedding do die hard, so Eugenie must make sure she chooses the ideal wedding dress on her big day."
