Kate Middleton never loses her poise even during unexpected situations.

On Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge made an appearance at a new addiction treatment center in Wickford. Middleton wore a bright blue coat from Goat and paired it with black stilettos. However, one of Middleton's stiletto heels got caught in a grate. Fortunately, the royal mom, who is seven months pregnant, was able to maintain her balance and avoid toppling over. Prince William's wife just laughed off the mishap and continued greeting the staff of the Action on Addiction Community Treatment Center that she opened, People reported.

Vice Lord Lieutenant of Essex Jonathan Douglas-Hughes also greeted Middleton. Douglas-Hughes stumbled himself when he met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2016. When Middleton saw him, she said, "Do the same as you!"

"I reminded her [about the fall]. My wife told her that she would ensure I didn't do it again. Then she caught her heel. She said, Oh…do the same as you!" Douglas-Hughes told reporters.

In related news, aside from opening the treatment center for addiction, the Duchess is set to learn and understand the charity's community-based recovery program, Clouds in the Community. She will also join a round-table discussion with healthcare professionals.

Middleton just returned from her four-day Scandinavian tour with Prince William. Last week, the royal couple made an official visit to Norway and Sweden.

During their visit, they met with King Harald and Queen Sonja. The Norwegian hosts gave them assorted gifts. The hosts also displayed Prince William and Middleton's portrait that were presented to them by the British royals.

Chris Jackson shared a snap of the portrait featuring the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrapping their arms around each other on Instagram. "This has been floating around Twitter and it was fantastic to see that the official portrait I took was presented as a gift to the King and Queen of Norway during the Cambridge's Scandinavian Royal Tour," Jackson wrote in the caption.

While in Sweden the couple attended a black-tie dinner with Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden. Among the guests was Alicia Vikander who was seated between Prince William and Prime Minister Stefan Löfven.

According to the "Tomb Raider" actress, she was too nervous to even sip her water. She admitted that she struck a conversation with the Duke and they talked about TV shows.

"Well, I've seen 'The Crown'. It was actually the first thing my friend and I started talking about with William. Apparently, he's a 'Game of Thrones' fan, I was told," Vikander told Norwegian talk show host Fredrik Skavlan.
