Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss maintained a close bond after starring in the first "Matrix" film over two decades ago, and they might make another reunion movie soon.

In a recent interview with People, Reeves, 57, and Moss, 54, talked about their films and TV work. Moss revealed that her favorite character that Reeves played was John Wick.

"I love John Wick," she told the outlet. "I really started to understand Keanu's outrageous gift for telling story through his body. And I didn't fully understand that until I went deep into John Wick with one of my children. It was very bonding for us too. It was amazing to have that experience with my son and to watch the depth that Keanu is able to [create] with his body. It's really an art form."

Reeves thanked Moss and said his favorite role for Moss was her iconic character in "Matrix," Trinity. He also complimented her eyes for playing a significant role in the characters she portrayed.

"I'm going to stay with Trinity, I think. But in all your performances, your eyes, I always see what's behind the eyes, what communicates," Reeves said while talking to Moss. "And there's always such a present-ness and even in vulnerability, a strength."

During the conversation, Reeves was asked if a character in the "John Wick" movies is available for Moss.

"You want to play an assassin?" Reeves asked Moss. "I'd love it," she replied.

Reeves asked Moss if she was sure and the latter reiterated her response. She even joked that she would start practicing for the role.

"Okay. Let's get on that," Reeves said. "Be careful for what you wish for. I'm on it now."

Moss also gushed over Reeves as a co-star when he graced the cover of Esquire on Dec. 7. According to her, even if Reeves was the lead star, she felt like they were partners in executing their roles.

"In the 'Matrix' movies, I’ve always felt like I was his partner, and he was my partner, in the execution of these characters," Moss told the outlet. "It was never the feeling of, Oh, he’s the movie star. His work ethic is unlike anyone I’ve ever met, and I’ve seen it up close: He trains harder, works harder, cares more, always asks more and more questions to understand the depth of what we’re doing. And while he was doing all of that for himself, he always had an eye out for me."

"The Matrix Resurrections" is now showing.
