The solo artist was able to leverage her success on TV to films. According to Radar Online, Clarkson became one of the judges in “The Voice” in Season 14. Due to the poor ratings of the 13th season, the network decided to bring in new faces. Clarkon and Alicia Keys replaced Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson on the show while Blake Shelton and Adam Levine were retained. “The Voice” paid the hitmaker $14 million to fend of competition from "American Idol" at that time. The "I Dare You" singer has been on the show since then.

As Season 18 just wrapped up, there are uncertainties when Season 19 will premiere or if it will push through at all due to the pandemic.

Clarkson is going through personal issues at the moment. She is divorcing her husband of seven years Brandon Blackstock due to irreconcilable differences. The former couple has two children who they hope to have joint legal and physical custody of, as per CNN.

On the other hand, the court revealed the two had a prenuptial agreement in place but exact figures of the settlement could not be determined yet. Clarkson acquired an $8.5 million mansion in California for her family in 2018. She also listed a 20,000 square foot Henderson, Tennessee house, which features 7 bedrooms and is located near a lake, for $7.5 million this year.
