“American Idol” alum Kelly Clarkson recently gushed over her two children and husband, Brandon Blackstock, a few hours before New Year’s Eve.

On her Instagram account, the singer shared a photo of Blackstock cuddling their daughter, River Rose, and son, Remington Alexander, while on the sofa. The “Piece by Piece” singer also wrote a simple but heartwarming caption where she said that her husband and children are all hers. The snap has received more than 80,000 views.

On Christmas day, Clarkson also posted an adorable photo of her family with Santa Claus. In the snap, Clarkson and her children wore red clothing, while her husband wore a black suit.

Meanwhile, Clarkson spoke with Entertainment Tonight last month to share how becoming a mother has changed her. According to the singer, she has never felt more confident as a woman until she had kids. “I feel like I’m nailing it,” she said.

Prior to giving birth to River Rose and Remington, Clarkson got a jumpstart on motherhood when she took care of her husband’s two children from a previous marriage. “We have a blended family that is another level of trying to make it work and everyone feeling as equally loved and important. And then also just having a marriage and having a career and having everything. It is a lot,” she said.

In other news, it has been 14 years since Clarkson won the first season of “American Idol.” In 2002, she became the first winner in the now-debunked FOX reality TV competition. According to her, the person she was before is no longer who she is right now. “The Kelly now and the Kelly of my 20s, that is the difference between selfish and selfless. Because when you are 20 you are supposed to be a little selfish and do all of your drama,” she said.
