  • Kelly Clarkson and Ariana Grande are both coaches on "The Voice"
  • Fans of the duo call them "Kelliana"
  • In 2013, Clarkson shared a video of Grande singing and asked who she was

Kelly Clarkson has proven she and Ariana Grande have been fangirling over each other for a long time.

Clarkson unearthed Wednesday a tweet from eight years ago in which she had written about the “7 Rings” singer, long before they became coaches on “The Voice.”

In a screenshot of one of her tweets dated from September 2013, Clarkson wrote, “Okay, who the heck is this girl & where did she come from?! Someone just sent me this & wow she is killer & only 19!!”

Grande, who was a teenager and an amateur at that time, responded to her tweet the next day, writing, “omg that’s me hi Kelly Clarkson thank you ily.”

“How it Started vs How it’s Going,” Clarkson captioned her post. “Y’all, I love this girl! Did I mention she’s gonna be on my upcoming Christmas album?!”

Grande quickly responded to her post, writing, “oh my goodness this post.” She also added another comment on the post, thanking Clarkson for the opportunity. “Beyond honored! I love you so! Thank you so so much for having me,” she wrote.

Clarkson and Grande have shown their strong bond on “The Voice,” despite the latter joining the show only this season. Previously, they sent their fans into a frenzy with their duet of “Respect” and gushed about each other’s vocals.

Even fans can’t help but gush over their amazing dynamic, earning their tandem the name “Kelliana.” “Kelliana forever,” commented one fan on Clarkson’s recent post. “This makes my heart warm.”

Earlier this month, Grande also joined Clarkson on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” where the "Positions" singer said kind words about the host and Clarkson called Grande “funny as hell.”

“This is the coolest thing about you though,” Clarkson said of Grande. “Backstage, I have to have my eye makeup done. Like, she’s hysterical. She’s so funny. Very quick-witted. I didn’t know this about you,” she added.

For her part, Grande thanked Clarkson and the people behind the show for welcoming her. “You all made me feel so comfortable and are the nicest people,” she said.
