Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons are going strong as a couple, but that doesn’t mean that they should be together all the time.

Earlier this week, the fashion model was photographed nonchalantly strolling around the Topanga Canyon Mall in Woodland Hills, California without the Philadelphia 76ers player. Jenner looked serious as she held a small pouch and her phone.

For the outing, the 23-year-old donned a white tank top, denim jeans, white sneakers and a brown, knee-length leather coat. She also wore a pair of narrow sunglasses when she stepped outside the establishment.

On Thursday, Simmons and Jenner were given the title “Adopted Prince and Princess of New Jersey” because of their effect on fans at Sixers games. Kendall is a big personality, so she gets a lot of attention every time she shows up at her boyfriend’s games.

The title was given by The Ringer’s Lindsay Zoladz who considers the romance between the two “oddly genuine, refreshingly down-to-earth and vaguely gauche.” She also noted how Kendall and Ben frequent South Jersey hotspots for their dates.

However, many believe that Jenner and Simmons’ romance could be cursed based on what had happened to the basketball players that the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” ladies dated in the past.

Kim dated and even tied the knot with Kris Humphries, but their marriage was short-lived. Khloe married Lamar Odom and they divorced as well. Khloe also dated Tristan Thompson, got pregnant with him but recently split following the latter’s cheating scandal with Kylie’s best friend Jordyn Woods.

When Kendall and Ben rekindled their romance late last year, many Sixers fans supported a Change.org petition to ban the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star from the Wells Fargo Center. Fans believe that Jenner would be a distraction to Simmons’ performance in the games.

As of writing, the petition has amassed 10,736 signatures but lacks more to achieve its target of 15,000 signatures. Based on the performance of the Philadelphia 76ers this season, however, it appears fans really have nothing to worry about.

Last week, Jenner and Simmons were spotted shopping for vacuum cleaners at Best Buy in Wegman’s Shopping Center in Cherry Hill. The two were also seen having dinner at Grand Lux at Cherry Hill Mall hours later.
