Khloe Kardashian may not be on good terms with Jordyn Woods, but her relationship with Tristian Thompson couldn’t be better. The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star praised the NBA player and reflected on the state of their relationship.

Kardashian and Thompson, who share a daughter, True Thompson, split in 2019 after news that the athlete cheated on the reality star with Woods made headlines. At the time, Woods was best friends with Kardashian’s half-sister, Kylie Jenner, and close with the famous family.

In a bonus clip of the reality show, Kardashian told “Watch What Happens Live” host Andy Cohen that she felt obligated to fix her relationship with Thompson after their breakup because the two have a daughter together.

“It’s like, I have to be an adult. Why make it difficult for myself for the rest of my life?” she told the late-night TV host.

“I have to deal with him. And he’s her dad, and he’s a great dad to her. So I’m not gonna drag my feet. I’ll make it as good as I can. Because that would just be harder on me.”

Kardashian admitted that she saw no point in remaining upset over her ex-boyfriend’s affair. “So I'm not gonna drag my feet, I'll make it as good as I can. Because that would just be harder on me,” she explained.

The 36-year-old went on to reveal that her decision to move on from Thompson’s scandal has done wonders for their relationship. “Tristan and I are in a really good space," she told Cohen.

Kardashian’s comments about Thompson come amid rumors that the former couple’s relationship is in a positive place.

In April, a source told Us Weekly that the former couple has been spending time together amid the coronavirus pandemic, and the Cleveland Cavaliers player has been trying to fix their relationship.

“Tristan is really stepping up to the plate with Khloe and True and is fighting to make their relationship work more than ever right now,” a source told the publication at the time.

“Khloe is enjoying spending time as a family and being all together right now, but she’s not completely open to letting Tristan back in her life in a romantic way right now.”
