  • Kim Kardashian has had "no complaints and no drama" despite the long hours, according to the report
  • Kardashian reportedly has been getting help from several comedians as she prepares for her hosting debut

Kim Kardashian won't be coming unprepared when she takes over the "Saturday Night Live" stage.

Ahead of her "SNL" hosting debut, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" alum has been rehearsing 20 hours a day since she arrived in New York City Monday, TMZ reported, citing unnamed production sources.

Call times for the "SNL" talent have been 5 or 6 a.m. all week, with rehearsals sometimes lasting until 3 a.m., sources told the outlet.

According to the insiders, Kardashian has been a "trooper" through it all, reportedly having had "no complaints and no drama" despite the long hours. The Skims founder has been "laser-focused on the task at hand" and "seriously wants to deliver as host" of this week's show, according to TMZ's sources.

To prepare for her gig, Kardashian has been getting help from some of the best comedians in the industry, including Dave Chappelle, Michelle Wolf, Ellen DeGeneres, Amy Schumer and James Corden. The comedians have been giving her tips on what to include in her monologue and how to approach the skits and perfect her delivery.

Kardashian's estranged husband Kanye West has been supporting her as she prepares for her "SNL" hosting debut as well. "Kanye is quietly advising her on her performance, her opening monologue, even her costumes for the show," an unnamed source told Page Six earlier this week.

However, some social media users are not happy with Kardashian's "SNL" gig and have already declared that they won't watch her episode.

"Who else isn't watching Kim Kardashian 'host' SNL tonight?" one person tweeted, to which another replied, "Me! I was just thinking, who's hosting tonight? Before I could check, I saw your tweet. Really, 'SNL'? Hard pass."

"Has 'SNL' ever had a less-qualified, less-talented host than Kim Kardashian?" tweeted David Lazarus, consumer columnist for the Los Angeles Times and KTLA Channel 5.

"My record for not watching anything Kim Kardashian will remain unbroken. Hard pass," another wrote.

Kardashian previously admitted that she was "feeling the pressure" after Debra Messing, 53, questioned her hosting gig.

"Why Kim Kardashian? I mean, I know she is a cultural icon, but 'SNL' has hosts, generally, who are performers who are there to promote a film, TV show, or album launch. Am I missing something?" Messing wrote on Twitter.

But Kardashian's fans quickly stood up for her, stating that the 40-year-old reality star was more than qualified to host the NBC show.

"Truth be told @DebraMessing, @KimKardashian just wrapped up what is likely the most successful & longest-running reality television show in history & is launching a new series on @hulu. That and her 'side gigs' @skims & @kkwbeauty made her a billionaire. She is @nbcsnl worthy," one fan claimed.

"Kim Kardashian is a successful designer and a media powerhouse whether you want to acknowledge that or not. I'm not into her type of famous, but she built an empire and she is entertaining to most so it's a smart choice. You're talking about it, so the mission was a success," another wrote.

Another Twitter user claimed she had a call with Kardashian about a project "on the investment side" and described the KKW founder as "very smart and business savvy." "I expected very little and came away with much respect," the user concluded.

"I don’t know about y’all, but I’m excited to see @KimKardashian host 'SNL' tonight," a fourth user added.

"Saturday Night Live," which features Halsey as the musical guest, will air at 11:30 p.m. Saturday on NBC.
