Netflix's summer edition is packed with action-packed thrillers, documentaries, and romantic comedies including "The Kissing Booth 3," which is all set to return on Aug. 11.

The streaming giant took to Twitter on Tuesday to announce the return of the iconic romantic college comedy, and shared an animated poster of the upcoming movie featuring Jacob Elordi, Joel Courtney and Joey King.

The movie is helmed by Vince Marcello and the screenplay is penned by Marcello and Jay Arnold. "Name a more iconic time than the summer before college," Netflix captioned. "Kiss markKiss mark Elle’s story concludes with the decision of a lifetime in THE KISSING BOOTH 3, headed your way August 11."

The movie is an adaptation of author Beth Reekles' young adult novel, "The Kissing Booth," and Netflix had purchased the rights of the movie in 2016. Actress Molly Ringwald and King were roped in for the project in 2017 and the first installment was released on May 11, 2018. The second installment of the romantic comedy was released in July 2020.

Besides "The Kissing Booth 3," Netflix has scheduled a bunch of projects to release this summer.

The streaming service shared a clip featuring all the season offerings including Kevin Hart's drama movie, "Fatherhood," "Bob Ross: Happy Accidents, Betrayal & Greed" and Zack Snyder’s zombie adventure "Army of the Dead."

"New movies, every week, all year," Netflix tweeted. "Get ready for a summer full of screams, stunts, romance, comedy, and zombies (a LOT of zombies) with brand new Netflix films every week, perfect for those May through August movie moods."

"Your summer starts now. #NewMoviesEveryWeek." Netflix concluded.

Later in June and July, the streaming giant will feature cartoon movies such as "America: the Motion Picture" and "Trollhunters: Rise of the Titans." In the month of August along with "The Kissing Booth 3," "She’s All That" will also release, which is a remake of 1999’s "He’s All That."

In total, the streaming giant will release about 30 movies and series within the span of five months. Moreover, Netflix also promised to release fresh movies throughout the year, every week.
