NBA Playoffs predictions are starting to emerge, and many league watchers are starting to ask: How far can the New York Knicks go? Reuters

Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks will look for a second straight win for new interim coach Mike Woodson tonight when they square off against the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden.

The Knicks are coming off a 121-79 thumping of the Portland Trailblazers at the Garden while the Pacers have won their last two games, including a 111-94 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Pacers traded for guard Leandro Barbosa of the Toronto Raptors in exchange for a future second-round draft pick before yesterday's NBA trade deadline. The Knicks were quiet, not making any deals.

Jeremy Lin, the Knicks point guard, will start tonight's game despite rumblings that new head coach Mike Woodson was thinking of starting backup Baron Davis in Lin's place.

Davis has been more effective at the point of late than Lin, who dazzled earlier this year but is now struggling.

Woodson replaced Mike D'Antoni, who resigned as head coach yesterday amid a tumultuous time for the Knicks, who have lost six of their last seven contests.

Friday's game is the first part of a home-and-home series between the Knicks and the Pacers.
