A new character named Inaka Nokoko is set to debut in "Komi Can't Communicate" Episode 9. The new episode is titled "A Country Girl, Video Games, Part-Time Job, Something on your Face."

The official Twitter account of the anime has shared the synopsis and spoiler stills of Episode 9. Inaka is a girl from the countryside and she will be joining Komi and the other students in the new semester after the summer break.

Like all the students of the high school, Inaka too is mesmerized by Komi. She is awestruck when she sees the goddess of the school.

Inaka notices Komi is truly an urban girl. Just like her, she too wants to be a city girl strolling to her office with coffee in one hand and her office files stuck in the armpit. She aspires to be like Komi in every sense.

It will be interesting to see how Inaka gets introduced to Komi and her friends in the forthcoming episodes. Episode 9 of "Komi Can't Communicate" anime will showcase the students returning to high school with memories of the summer break.

"At a high school full of unique characters, Tadano helps his shy and unsociable classmate Komi reach her goal of making friends with 100 people," read the official series synopsis, according to Netflix.

Fans can watch "Komi Can't Communicate" Episode 9 Thursday on Netflix Japan and TV Tokyo. Viewers outside Japan will be able to watch the episode on Dec. 16 on Netflix.
