  • Kourtney Kardashian has been taking her in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments "seriously," a report says
  • Travis Barker reportedly has been "fully supporting" her during her IVF journey
  • Kardashian reportedly "loves being pregnant" but is also aware that it may be more difficult to have a child this time around

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are eager to expand their family and are leaning on each other as she undergoes in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatments to get pregnant, according to a report.

An unnamed source told Us Weekly that the "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum, 42, has been taking the treatments "seriously," and the Blink-182 drummer, 46, has been supporting his fiancée throughout her IVF journey.

"Travis is fully supporting her every step of the way," the insider said, adding that the couple was "very close" before Kardashian began the process. "The journey just affirmed their bond and love for each other."

Kardashian and Barker had been friends for years before they began dating in late 2020. They got engaged in October last year during a romantic proposal at the Rosewood Miramar Beach hotel in Montecito, California.

Kardashian is mom to sons Mason, 12, and Reign, 7, and daughter Penelope, 9, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick. Barker, meanwhile, shares two children with ex Shanna Moakler: daughter Alabama, 16, and son Landon, 18.

The insider noted that Kardashian "loves being pregnant" but is also aware that it may be more difficult to have a child this time around.

"She feels like she's almost at the cut-off age of having kids, so this is almost like her last chance," the source continued. "They're praying for a miracle."

Kardashian has decided to share her IVF journey with fans through her family's new Hulu reality series, "The Kardashians." The Poosh founder felt it was important to show her pregnancy journey as her relationship with Barker had been filmed for the series, the tipster said.

"They’re very committed to each other and raising their kids as a blended family but are hoping to have a child together," the source added.

Kardashian would "love" to have a baby with Barker "especially since they're going to get married and will soon officially be husband and wife," the insider said.

A teaser for "The Kardashians" released last month showed footage of Kardashian and Barker visiting a doctor's office.

"Travis and I want to have a baby," she said in the clip.

In another leaked trailer obtained by Page Six, the reality star revealed that the IVF medication she has been taking to get pregnant caused severe side effects such as weight gain and menopause-like symptoms.

"It hasn't been the most amazing experience," Kardashian said of her fertility treatments in the teaser, which was leaked on Instagram and later taken down.

"The Kardashians" premieres on Hulu this Thursday.
