Kourtney Kardashian is breaking her silence on her surprise Las Vegas wedding with Travis Barker.

The 42-year-old reality star took to Instagram Wednesday to share the story behind their Monday wedding ceremony at the One Love Wedding Chapel as well as post some photos from the event.

The pictures showed Kardashian holding a bouquet of red roses as she and the Blink-182 drummer look into each other's eyes and smile while an Elvis Presley impersonator stands in the background. Both stars wore black leather jackets and dark sunglasses as they embraced each other and kissed during the ceremony.

In the caption, Kardashian confirmed that the wedding ceremony was not legal and that they did not get a marriage license.

"Found these in my camera roll," she captioned the photos. "Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2 a.m., after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license)."

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" alum concluded her post by writing, "Practice makes perfect."

Barker shared on his own Instagram page more photos from the ceremony, including one of Kardashian on the floor with a bouquet of roses as the Elvis impersonator oversees their nuptials. He captioned the post simply, "What happens in Vegas."

But while the pair aren't officially Mr. and Mrs. Barker yet, their fans and friends appear to be happy for them as they gushed over the couple's photos.

"Who doesn't love a Vegas dress rehearsal?" Simon Huck commented.

"Aw, so happy for you two! So perfect together!" Paris Hilton added.

"The perfect dress rehearsal," one fan wrote, praising the pair's outfits.

Another fan expressed excitement over the couple's official wedding potentially being featured on the Kardashian family's new reality series, "The Kardashians," on Hulu. "Cute, can't wait for the Hulu wedding!" the Instagram user commented.

News broke Tuesday that Kardashian and Barker, who got engaged in October 2021, made an impromptu trip to the One Love Wedding Chapel for a ceremony after appearing at the 2022 Grammy Awards, which was held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Chapel owner Marty Frierson told People that the couple had specifically requested that an Elvis Presley impersonator officiate their wedding and that it was "very important" for the pair to have "the Vegas experience."

He also revealed that Kardashian and Barker did "a lot" of "kissing and hugging" throughout their time there.

"They barely came up for air!" he said. "They just seemed totally in love."

Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler previously reacted to the news of his nuptials, expressing her well-wishes for the couple in a statement to People.

"Congratulations to the happy couple," Moakler said. "I wish them the best that life has to offer on their journey together."

Moakler and Barker were previously married from 2004 to 2008. They share two children, daughter Alabama, 16, and son Landon, 18. The model also shares daughter Atiana De La Hoya, 23, with ex Oscar De La Hoya.

Meanwhile, Kardashian shares three children with ex Scott Disick — Mason, 12, Penelope, 9, and Reign, 7.
