The year-long SM Town Live Tour, which kicked off in South Korea and went on to Los Angeles, China and Japan, reached France.

The SMTown concert in Paris marked a milestone for the emerging KPop movement in Europe as the artists rocked the stage with hundreds of fans from the European continent who travelled to Paris.

Some 7000 KPop fans danced, shouted, sang, and wept till their throats hurt at the Paris leg of the SM Town concert, held at Le Zenith de Paris June 10-11. SMTown, artists groomed under Korean label SM Entertainment, kept the audience alive with tremendous energy for a total of six hours during the two-day tour.

Korea's entertainment culture succeeded beyond the national border due to young fans' ability to access the internet. Youtube and other social networking sites attributed to KPop's fast-gaining popularity across Asia, Europe, and America.
