Avid followers of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson continue to ship for them even after their controversial split in December 2013. Though there have been rumors saying that the former lovebirds might work together again in a brand new project, both Kristen and Robert said it might not be possible at the moment. Recently, the two spoke about the “Twilight” actor’s upcoming “The Batman” movie.

Kristen, in an interview with Fandango alongside “Charlie’s Angels” co-stars Naomi Scott and Ella Balinska, was asked about who she thinks is the best Batman. “Robert Pattinson, yet to find out,” the “Personal Shopper” star responded swiftly. “I have all the faith in that,” she went on.

Aside from that, Kristen Stewart expressed her agreement about Zoe Kravitz being cast as Catwoman, who is one of the villains in Robert Pattinson’s imminent movie. Naomi agreed to Kristen’s statement and said Zoe was meant to play the coveted role. "I cannot wait to see that. I’ve known those guys for a long time, obviously," the “Aladdin” star added.

Kristen, in September, told Variety she cannot wait to see her former beau wear the famous cape and cowl. After saying she was happy about Robert landing the lead role, she agreed that he has the “perfect cheekbones” to play the Bruce Wayne role.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson revealed to Jennifer Lopez, recently, that he never thought of portraying the crime-fighting, billionaire playboy role in this lifetime. “I have no interest whatsoever in playing someone who’s heroic,” the “Eclipse” actor told Alex Rodriguez’s fiancée during an interview for Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series. “The only time I want to play someone who an audience knows they’re supposed to like is when they really shouldn’t like them. That’s the only time,” he went on.

Robert, also, divulged he thinks Batman is a “deeply disturbed” person. The “Breaking Dawn” star, however, said he finds it interesting that Bruce Wayne always struggles and does not know whether he is a great hero or not. In the end, Jennifer Lopez reiterated Kristen Stewart’s previous statements and said she thinks Robert Pattinson is going to be a “great” Batman.
