Kristen Stewart, 29, and Robert Pattinson, 33, caught the hearts of many when they appeared as Bella Swan and Edward Cullen in the romance fantasy film series, “Twilight.” It cannot be denied that Kristen and Robert were relatively unknown artists before they were tapped to play the lead roles in the successful movie franchise. Their chemistry, at the time, was too obvious that it did not take long for romance rumors to spread like wildfire.

Recently, Kristen spoke about her failed relationship with Robert in an interview with Howard Stern. The “New Moon” actress revealed not talking about her romance with Robert while doing the “Twilight” films was her personal choice. Kristen hinted she wanted to keep everything as private as possible because she does not want to be accused of taking advantage of their on-screen tandem.

"It’s so weird actually being honest about this it’s been so heavily consumed,” Kristen Stewart told Howard. “…and I have this fear that people would assume that maybe I’m like, it’s kind of attention-y ‘oh cool you are still pushing that narrative’ or whatever and it’s like no, I’ve actually never been able to say what happened because I was so self-conscious about seeming like an attention-seeker," Robert Pattinson’s ex-ladylove went on.

Kristen, also, revealed that she would have gotten married to Robert if he only proposed when they were still together. Calling herself a “super duper traditionalist,” the “Eclipse” actress said she has felt the same way in her other relationships. Kristen added she was head over heels for Robert when they were still working on the “Twilight” saga and laughed when Howard said falling in love with a co-star is the worst mistake any actor could ever do.

To recall, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson continued to play coy about their romance until 2010. “Twilight” producer Wyck Godfrey revealed to Time Magazine, while filming the franchise’s second installment, that they were, indeed, an item.

"The thing that I think about is, 'Oh my God, I hope they stay together.' Because it could be awkward on set in the next movie if they have a huge falling out,” Wyck told the publication at the time. “It's like, wow, they have to portray this love story through two more movies. God, I hope they stay together. Please stay together," he went on.

However, news about Kristen Stewart cheated on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders broke just a few days after the former lovebirds accepted their Teen Choice surfboards together. The actress was quick to address the allegations and apologized for her wrongdoing. Kristen and Robert broke up for good in May 2013.
